The path... that humanity has chosen -as a whole, globally- the path of arrogance, pride and vanity, of power -with its violence-... is becoming increasingly evident, and with total impunity. To the point where... there is no defence against a certain level of violence.

And the environment looks on with apparent concern and amazement... at the levels of power we are taught... -which are profit sharing- while populations despair.

The example that we are now living through (the war in Ukraine), which seems to be the most devastating... without being so...

But it seems that what is near hurts more than what is far away.

In this progressive state of impunity, perhaps the most striking thing is that it is not even played with the usual seeing of who wins, of seeing who is right, of seeing... No.

Simply the most powerful, in agreement with the other powerful ones, decide to use power and violence as a sign of that state of globalisation, in which they try to put the whole population into a single thought, in a single way, with the imminent threat... and with the message that "you have no defence"; that no one will come to help you.

And you will have to give in to power.

It is a sign... which is likely to generate "sympathy" for other powers to act in the same way.

The gulf between the powerful and the rest is widening.

It's getting to a situation where running away… -which would seem to be the right thing to do- may be the worst thing to do.

Where to?

How will you be received wherever you go...?

To remain...; to remain with the attitude of... coexistence, with the attitude of relationship, with the attitude of care, help....

Because fear becomes despair, and with it comes a loss of judgement.

The Prayerful Call calls us to relativize the immediate. To not allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by the... "newsworthy". To open the compass... of the drama that the species is living... and to become aware of personal development, of the attitude in living together, in sharing, which will give us the minimum quality to enter into other dimensions in which, knowing that we are in "these" -concrete- we can keep our sentimental sanity clear enough to celebrate food, to rejoice in song, to realise solidarity, to share elements, to flee from radicalism and appropriations and properties... that daily consciousness gives us.

Although it may seem a contradiction -and this is where the Prayerful Call leads us- the exaggerated moments of convulsion make us reconsider, make us remodel, rethink our beliefs...; rehabilitate our resources!, to enter into other dimensions of coexistence....

To evaluate and assess the feelings and commitments involved.

May the clarity of dawn give us the serene vision, the obedient listening, the precise word that represents the true perspective... that resolves the contradictions.

Winning temperament, overcoming temperament of continual testing, the attitude of competition, as signs of achievement... lead us to a period of decadence, because the achievement is ephemeral... and the loss is great.

And so, everything becomes vulgarised.

Virtue is intimidated...

Sincerity is camouflaged...

Hope is diluted...

And Faith becomes elusive.

And so it is that, then, humanity behaves in the frivolity of the superficial, of the immediate, of the result...; in the continuous overcoming of steps and with the persistent threat of punishment.

To make living that journey... is to abandon the Mystery, the Magic and the Miracle of living.

Knowing how to see the universality of processes, in particular cases, gives us the option -in each of our actions!- to intervene, to participate… in all processes.

In this way, we are not "hijacked" into a partial vision, which ends up being selfish... proprietary... sectarian... -even if we don't like those words very much-.

To recollect ourselves in the instinct of holiness... -that potential product of our origin- can suggest to us, in our sensations and in our perceptions, the immediate urgency to Re-veal ourselves in all that is veiled, to clarify, to clear...; to not have to carry the heavy burden of the hidden.

 

To implore for the permanent hope...

To revive in the continuous belief...

To become qualities of service...

And to channel our feelings in love, in a love... without justifications, without prejudices, without partisanship, without possessions.
